    Recessive Gene Project

I was wondering what the smart bp keepers on here would recommend I really want to get started on a recessive project but i want to know what is the most effective way to start a recessive project. Like if you recommend buying adult hets or if recommend buying morph hets or if buying visuals. The project i want to start is a VPI Axanthic just to give you some idea

Personally I love the VPI axanthic as well, though I am not interested in making any single recessive axanthics for my project. If you do get into them I recommend buying at least one visual so you're almost guaranteed visual in the offspring, buy them all visual if you have the bank for it. Personally with the axanthic girl I have I want to do the Lightning, albino, and snow pieds. I would also like very much to get into true ghost morphs.
    1.1 Fire
    0.1 Black Pewter
    1.1 Het pied
    0.1 Pied
    0.1 VPI Axanthic het Albino

    I want to meet people.

Buy a couple of codom's het Axanthic and an Axanthic male. would be my suggestion.. Like a spider Het Ax, a pinstripe het Ax and a fire or super pastel het Ax.

This . You could also look for an axanthic combo male, if you could squeeze that into a budget.

I'd go super pastel het ax female for sure since axanthic pastels are so hot !!

I also suggest setting a goal . I think we all have that dream animal that we're slowly chipping away at producing .

If I were to get into axanthics, i'd shot for the firefly axanthics (fire x pastel x axanthic), saw some at a booth in tinley.... just amazing about all I can say.
