Please HELP - F Baby Albino Feeding issues!
Hi I am a new BP owner and picked up a baby Albino F about 6 weeks ago.
She fed the day we got her and then again a week later.
She went off her food the following week and then realised she was about to shed.
She had a poor shed thinking due to humidity levels in tank. Been having alot of hassles keeping this up. Finally think its sorted though over the past few days.
She now hasnt eaten for 4 weeks. Really worried now
Suggestions please

Well first of all what is your setup like?
Hides?
Temps?
Substrate?
Tank or tubs size?
Any changes to the snakes enviroment since it ate last?

Re: Please HELP - F Baby Albino Feeding issues!
Setup is a Exo Terra 600mm wide x 300mm high x 400mm deep.
Heat 85F hot side - Heat lamp 75w + under tank heat mat.
Cold side is 80F
Substrate is Coco Husk (Due to problem humidity) Now at 55%
Hides one cave on hot side and cold side a bamboo log. She likes this better.
Yes changed from 10 gallon Fish tank to the Exo terra tank. She seems happy enough. But cant ask her..lol

ok you might try to bump the hot side temps up to 90-92 see if that helps

No problems here

Make sure the hides are small enough and tight enough that they cover the whole snake and that they touch the snake as much as possiable

This might be the big factor..

She's already told you, Stressed/sick Ball pythons don't eat plain and simple
Try and tweak those few little things gir her a week and see how it goes then offer her a feed. Remember don't mess with her at all for at lease a week after changing something.

You should have identical hides on both sides so she doesn't have to choose etween being warm or being cold I'd say she probably needs time alone is she in a high traffic area?

Changed the tank about 2 weeks ago so would have thought she would have settled in.
The Bamboo log is tighter so maybe thats why she likes it more.
I will go get another heat lamp to bring hot side up. maybe 100W will work.
I am really worried she only weighs 85 grams
