He's in the club now, get him his complimentary T-shirt and bumper sticker. LOL
    I'm on my 8th snake and still haven't sustained a bite(knocks wood)

Is it weird that I look forward to that day?
Maybe I'm a Parseltongue and don't know it.

If it's weird to look forward to that day, then I must be pretty weird too lol. I just got my first ball python and I'm just waiting for the day it happens.

I am now a triple amputee after a run in with a hungry ball python... as I laid there missing both arms and a leg she escaped her enclosure and crawled out into the wild.. in AZ. I fear she will reproduce and spread to the rest of the US endangering billions of innocent people. Legislature needs to be passed to prevent this immediately!!!!!!

Re: Whoever said ball pythons weren't dangerous LIED!

I have about 30 snakes and I've only ever been gnawed on by little hatchling corns and other people's snakes. I think other people's snakes just dislike me, because every time the owner says they've never bitten before. Mine, however, are docile to the point of being stuffed animals. I've suffered many war wounds caring for other people's snakes.

I wish I had taken a better picture of when a 5 1/2 foot kingsnake gnawed on me for an hour while I couldn't get him off. I found the hard way why they recommend a backup when handling a snake over 5 foot! My hand was bloody like no other and wrapped in gauze with antibiotics for two weeks!

In comparison to that... I love my ball pythons, and am very very glad that they're not nearly so vicious. The most I expect from them is a tap, not a full on clamp.
