Like the others have said, completely normal! My spider is the same way. When she goes "clear" she looks like she's done shedding. She's bright and looks like she's already shed but there's no shed in the tub. I can't tell you how many times I kept digging under the newspaper and in her hides to look for a shed that was never there. My normal, on the other hand, stays pretty dull until she actually sheds.
