I would say crested geckos, but since your apartment gets that hot, it might not be a good idea as they dislike hot temps. I'm interested to see others' suggestions.

    Will you do roaches?

Very interested in the responses you get here. I can think of a few, but they all require a larger cage as adults. I also have some 18 cubes sitting around. As of now I am planning to make a dart frog viv out of one... that's my next herp project.

Throw a window A/C unit in a rooms window, get the temp down to 80F and you could do any of the new caledonian species.

Tokay geckos! They're the devil in lizard form so they can survive in any heat and you can just feed them souls.

Re: Help me find a perfect lizard for me....

I would stay away from most monitors, a savanah monitor is easy to tame but like all monitors... they get big.
I own a Knight/Cuban Anole myself, and he's the darnest thing. Very comedic and very beautiful, and easy to raise. He does primarly chow down on crickets, but he's just as happy to eat mealworms and superworms, and sometimes roaches and medium pinkies. Very easy to keep, and I'm sure a Knight/Cuban Anole will live fine in your home. The only thing though, is that they can grow to be 2 feet long, so, I'm not sure that your enclosure would work.... but perhaps a Day Gecko would, they are very pretty and don't grow to be more than a max of 6 inches long, I wish I had more info on the Day gecko, but I'm sure somebody does on here

Giant Day Gecko looks promising, though I have no personal experience with them.
