I did it as more of a joke than anything, just to mess with you! I joke that the main two reasons that I'm going out for Special Forces is so that I can grow a beard and have people call me Bruce instead of sir!

I figured as much. Good luck on Q-school, I have always wanted to do a "combat beard" deployment.
