Just throwing it out there. You seemed to post a pic of a young super Lori ball and an adult red Axanthic. What you should do is post a pic of either adult of both or baby of both. The red axanthics are much greyer as babies and get that rust color later. The comparison of similar ages would look better than 2 different ages. This pic of a red Axanthic shows the color difference.
This isn't my snake. I just googled red Axanthic ball python. Cool thread idea tho.

I just noticed something interesting. I'm in no way claiming to be an expert on morphs this is just something I noticed. On Corey Woods website (who found the red Axanthic morph) he says that a characteristic of the red Axanthic is that the eye stripe "breaks" after the eye, but before the snout. As you can see in this pic.
He also has some pics of lesser and pastel red Axanthic combos that have this trait as well.
Here is a pic of a super Lori ball.
It seems like the super Lori ball has the same kind of eye stripe "break". I'm not saying they are one in the same morph. My theory is they are like black pastels and cinnys. Comparable but different than each other. What are your thoughts?

I have never seen either in person, however from these pictures I would believe that both mutations are in the same gene complex or affect the same gene expression. I like the busier pattern on the Lori ball, though.

Personally I think that Lori, Het Red, Green Pastel and I think there is another one, just can't remember what it is off the top of my head, are all Het Red Axanthics. They came in as wild imports and so the different breeders all gave them their own names.

Wow the super Lori is ridiculously cool! The lori ball almost has a ghost color.
