I'm one of those people who pictures in my head every scenario I'm presented with. My mind's eye just saw you whip your phone out of your bra (and you weren't graceful about it), lick it in an exaggerated manner, and proceed to make a phone call. I don't know who you called, I banished the thought before it got that far (I found the hidden emoticons!)

OH MY GOD HOW DID YOU KNOW? Er...I mean...

Thankfully licking electronics, or anything not usually lickable, isn't really my cup of tea.

Thank you Brandi, btw, for this quirky subject. Never thought I would have a need for the term lickable on a forum. Lol

All you people crying Germ X and hand sanitizer...you should really look up the Hygiene Hypothesis! We NEED to be exposed to germs. If we sanitize the ever living heck out of everything, we will become so fragile as a species, not to mention antibiotic resistance.

I understand not wanting to be in direct contact with somebody slober, but we can't use hand sanitizer every waking moment, or you will actually get sick more often.

I agree! I don't use hand Sanitizer. Never. Besides believing that it's unnecessary, it feels totally gross.
My issue with finger lickers isn't about fear of getting sick. It's just gross.

Haha yeah it sure is gross. I dunno, when I first started working in customer service I wouldn't have said anything, but now I'd be like "ummmm, I'm not touching that you just slobbered all over it." Or else I'd just look them in the eye as I picked it up with a kleenex haha!

One of the store owners does the tissue thing. I don't, because : A) I completely suck at controlling facial expression. I literally do not have a poker face, it's impossible to not know what I'm thinking. B) I also think just about everything is funny in some way, and laughter control is something I struggle with.

I take the ring, go into the shop, dip my hand in the ultrasonic, and move on.

Uh uh! Earrings are a hard limit for me! I don't touch them with my bare hands at all if they've just come out of someone's ears. Can't do it. I'd let a customer lick my face before I'd touch their dirty earrings.

First off I didn't know windex is the easiest way to get stuck rings off? That doesn't seem slippery. And second from some one not aloud to talk about work or school at dinner or most get togethers wash your hands after every time you touch something gross and if possible have a partner handle the grosses things.
