It looks like you have a piece of flexwatt attached to either side of the glass (front and back), but nothing else covering the glass to provide the snake security. For terrariums, many suggest covering the back and sides of the glass with heavy construction paper (dark color) or some other dark covering. This makes the enclosure seem less open to the snake and will lesson that stress factor. Only leave the front open for viewing. Are your temps ok? Do you have a hot and cool side to let your bp regulate it's body temperature?

Understood, was just a communication error on my part I would just look into stress factors and what may be causing them. Once that is remedied, your bp should settle down some. As was also suggested, just give your bp a tap (nothing hard) to get it out of the strike mode and then pick it right up. It will most likely settle right down once it realizes it is not in danger.
