How old? Hatchlings will be quick to strike when they are small. You probably look like a big predator to him/her. Also, you mentioned after 3 days? Did you just get the BP? If so, let it settle in for at least a week before handling. Another thing, does your terrarium have ample places for the snake to hide? Maybe it is stressed?
