    Shedding and pairing schedule

I am rotating my males through the females and he had gone through them all and locked with all except the last one. Today I went to introduce him to the last female, and the female was in blue. So I don't know if that is a good idea to put him in there and I put him with a female he had already been with instead. But I don't know if this is necessary I just did it because I wasn't sure.

So may I ask, is there a reason to not put them togther when the female is shedding?

Ok after I put the male with another female, I looked closely and that female is in shed too!!!

He's only been in a little while so I figured I would stick to the schedule and put him with the one he was supposed to have been with schedule wise. Hope this is alright.

I presume from your message you mean "yes put them together"? Not "Yes there is reason not to"?

YES YES YES! I nearly always get locks while my females are in shed. Also, when weather fronts move in I usually get locks as well. Males, however, tend to usually not breed while in shed. I haven't seen it at least.
