I am curious, how can you tell he is a pastel pied aside from from the fact he was labeled as so by Demeyer? I currently have a female pied that I have long suspected to be pastel pied, and she doesn't look to different from your boy there...a little more orange on her but could be due to age as mine looks quite a bit younger.
