The only issue I see with this set up is continuous cost. The two co2 canisters are good for one shot each for $8, where as a 20z co2 canister would cost roughly the same to fill and will last you 15-20 kills.

One option I am looking at is using a 20oz co2 canister, hooked up to a paintball remote coil.

I looked at many options as well. I used dry ice in the past but the place I would purchase from wouldn't have it all the time. I get a pack of CO2 (15) for $8, one canister can handle roughly 25-40 rodents depending on the size. Within the pack I would be able to use it 15 times. I like this method so far because I don't have to worry about letting out to much co2, watching it the entire time etc etc. I just drop it in and come back in 10 minutes or so.

I am sure there are many different methods out there along with many different opinions, this method works best for me so I am sticking with it for now
