price check please
Can't find a value on a may 2012 female red group pastel jungle. I don't know much about boas in general but honestly haven't heard of these "red group" line until someone asked me if I wanted one. So honestly any info would be great. Thanks

I have never heard of "red group" pastels. Not saying there isn't such a thing, but I haven't heard of it personally.
If you are looking at a pastel, you should know that the pastel trait is not genetic. Pastels are noted for their clean pattern with more pink blushing (darker pink coloration may indicate "red group"??? Maybe this guy has a group of pastels that are darker pink in coloration??). Pastels are often used to clean up the pattern and color of other morphs. They can affect other morphs, but 2 pastels bred together will not necessarily produce more pastels although the babies could appear more intense in color.
Pastels are a good snake to have if you're going to breed boas, but their price is subsequently less than morphs that have been proven genetic. If this "red group" is not well-known, than I'd be wary of it being something special - at least not until some well-known and reputable breeders put some stock in it. In the meantime, these pastels should not be priced any higher than other pastels.
For 2012 babies, normal pastels will run around $100. Pastel jungles will range from $120-180 depending on the extent of the jungle pattern (which IS genetic - dominant actually).

I also have never heard of it, but that doesn't mean much.

Re: price check please
Thank you all for the info. I did find very little online about them. I decided to pass on her as my boa breeding plans are no where near ready to start buying random animals. I just picked up my first pair of rtb's and have plenty of time before considering breeding.

Sounds like a wise decision!
