    Pillow cases are unnecessary

    Use a tub with a lid
    1 to 1 1/2 inches of 88 degree water(measure with probed thermometer)
    hand towel in the bottom

    Soak 30 minutes and replace with more 88 degree water and soak another 30 minutes.

    Shed should slide right off, if not use a damp towel to assist it.

    I would check your humidity, stuck sheds happen because the humidity is low.
