    Ball python escaped

This bites 5 days ago my female pastel het clown which was going to breed this year with my clown escaped about 5 days ago and cant locate her at all. I have a mini macaw parrot in the house was wondering if the snake might go after her, the snake is about 5 feet and 1800 grams. any tricks to try and locate her?

I've heard of leaving a live mouse or rat in an open tank in the room she escaped in and letting her go for it, or try making a warm spot for her so she can seek it out. Hopefully you will get some good tips coming up, good luck!

I would try the live mouse in a clear container in the center of the room and try to create a hot spot there as well. Worst case, you can always try the old flour on the floor and look for snake trails. Just make sure to look everywhere, you would be amazed at where they can squeeze into. Good luck!

We just found our escaped corn and we had put a mouse out for a couple nights and right after we were heading to bed realized we forgot to put one out, my hubby went down to do it and found our corn in the kitchen which is directly behind her cage... What I figured out is that she waited until the house got quiet and then came out, and was most likely behind the fridge..
    Good luck!

    Re: Ball python escaped

What do you have in the room? Anything that produces heat is a good place to start. Also don't be surprised if they move up. I had my mojave get out and he turned up on the top shelf of my bookcase curled up on some books.

If you havw hard floors spread flour out and place a mouse or rat in a critter keeper out in the floor
