That's awesome! Bps are great snakes, way better than corns imo. I started out the same as you. Now, they are more my passion than my husband I think. My daughter is still knee deep, but it was her and hubby that spent years convincing me. I am very much into my snakes! Welcome! You better start building a rack, because once you see all the cool morphs you are going to want more...

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

I held my first BP almost 2 years ago. I had always been terrified of snakes before then. I now have 7 snakes I never knew I could love snakes so much. My first ones name is Rocko. He is a normal and my favorite. I had to have more than one because I love holding them. I don't like to bother them while they are in shed so now I always have at least one or two to hold while the others are doing their thing.

I used to think sketchy thoughts about snakes, but then I had a friend force me to hold one of their ball pythons around may this year and in June I bought my 1st. It's only been a few months now and I'm up to 9 snakes, 8 balls and 1 BRB. Also already have a breeder girl who just have me my 1st official lock ever tonight, here's to another 6+ snakes!!!!!!!

I love these stories How can you not fall in love with that cute face? They are not evil slimy monsters like some people believe. They are awesome!
And believe me, don't ever worry about getting bitten. Even if it ever does happen, which it likely won't unless you smell like a rat buffet, I'd rather be nicked by a BP pin-prick than any mammal any day of the week. I still have a scar from a rat bite from 15 years ago!
