How far between mice?

So far so good.

Today I´ve spent all day on my ball Python

I installed the heatmat inside the cage, underneath some vinyl.

I hooked up a thermometer, and its now on 90 F in one side of the terrarium.

I cleaned the whole terrarium with steam and gave him new substrate.

I made a container for him and a container for mice.

Now I have theese mice.

What interval should I feed them to him?

You are using a thermostat with the uth? Right???!!! I would assume you also have a fail safe Tstat running as well? I hope so. This method is fraught with risk. Liquids, out gassing, fire hazards. I hope you are using a waterproof UTH that is designed not to outgas and low temp? I have serious concerns about using a pad that specifically states it requires air flow across it for safe use.

I think there is a failsafe in the thermostat.

I lined the UTH with ducktape and used silicon glue in the edges of the vinyl to waterproof it.

I will call the shop tomorrow to discuss it.

As for your feeding interval question. Hatchlings will usually eat ever 5 days. Sub-adults to adults are generally on a 7-10 day interval.

But thats not what I ment. I want to feed it two mice. How long time between the two mice?

The only thermostats that run mechanical relays are the herpstat 1 (not the basic) the 2 and 4. this feature needs to be enabled. Many duck tapes are not for use with high temps the max temp for 3M for example is 130º for less than one hour. there are great risks involved in the method you have chosen to follow. Be careful misuse of products can be serious. Again I would suggest products designed for in floor heating and use the set up that is approved for that application or use products that are intended for direct contact. Do be careful and keep an eye on what you have done.

Wait until the first has settled (you should be able to see it moving through the body. Once the snake starts moving around again you should be ready for #2.

I just found this. Its similar to my heatmat.

By the way. It has an alarm that goes of if its too hot.

That actually just added a new model, the herpstat intro +. The intro + has a mechanical relay and only costs $10 more than the intro does.

I stand corrected the intro + does as well trust dion to add protection for animals.

The uth you linked is an Ultratherm it alleviates some concern about duct tape as they do not hit I've 100 normally. I would still recommend a Kane pad or a rhp both designed to be used inside enclosures not try to adapt a unit intended for use outside.
