There has been a long history of aid back and forth. my grandparents remember Boston sending tons of aid workers after the Halifax explosion. In the 30's (I don't remember what year it was...) one of the Boston Christmas trees can from the community they lived in. Even today there is a ceremony for the tree cutting, and shipping it to Boston in remembrance and thanks for the great service done for the city I live in. This years tree cutting is in Jordan Bay Shelburne County on Nov 13 (1030 am) Sadly a work day for me and too far to duck out to. Thank You people of Boston.
