    Is it weird that....

This last time I bought feeder rats for my boys I bought 2 feedings worth. Well the additional one I bought to feed to my larger boy Clyde appears to be sick, and only getting worse. How bizarre is it that I feel terrible about needing to kill it to end it's suffering but I have no problem feeding live rats to my BPs? Like I know I need to do it cause he is clearly messed up but I can't bring myself to do it

Are you weird about it because you'll have to deliver the kill with your own hands?

Pin the skull flat by holding behind the head, grab the base of the tail, and give it a lightning fast and FIRM tug.

It's unpleasant but sometimes has to be done. You're not weird.

That's part of it I guess. I think feeding them to my snake doesn't bother me cause it's natural. I'll probably end uo dong it the way you said.
