Ok, I know I am probably being over paraniod with these being my first clutch and all. But I cut the eggs 2 days ago on day 56, just a tiny "V". Well last night a cut the "V" a little bigger because one of the babies looked like it might of had a twisted umbilicle(spelling?). The eggs still don't have a huge amount cut. Now this morning I looked at them and one egg looks a little cloudy while the other 2 are clear. It's not major cloudy, but does seem to be a little. I have heard of people fluching eggs with water and I wanted make sure how that is done before doing it. I was thinking of taking a syringe, no needle, like one of the kids old medicine ones, and using it to put water in the egg. But that seems like it would be bad for the baby. So how do you do it? I had hoped to see them sticking their heads out by now, and for all I know they have, My incubator is a beach cooler and stays dark, and its lid is very snug so when I open it its noticable and the babies have time to tuck back into their eggs before I open the egg tub. I just want them to come out of the eggs soon so I can quit worrying so much about themThanks.
