    Homemade Humid Hide

So I took the advice of some people on here and made Severus a humid hide out of a plastic container. It's a bit small, but he can fit all the way in. I bought some sphagnum moss and wet it with warm water...and voila! He LOVES it so far. I'm pretty sure he's in deep shed right now. Eyeballs look clouded over and he's a little more antisocial than normal (if that's even possible lol). The humidity in my cage leaves a lot to be desired so I'm trying my best to get it up. Shot a few not-so-great pics of him investigating and trying to figure out how to fit inside..I'm sure I pissed him off even more.

    Re: Homemade Humid Hide

I was thinking about doing this, as I am having some problems with humidity (and getting tired of misting), but trying to find out what to use. What did you put in the inside of the hide, to absorb/hold the moisture?
