That's awesome! My brother bought a Walmart guitar for $120 and that thing sounds better than many guitars I've heard that are 10 times more expensive.

Nice man. I am looking forward to getting home and getting some lessons with him! Maybe we'll get my other son to play drums and we can start our own band! LOL

I'm gonna give you fair warning, you will hate drumming if your son becomes a percussionist. Everything in your house will be come a drum. He'll beat on the dinner table while trying to eat, he'll beat on the sofa while trying to watch a movie. That's just how it goes for percussionist, once they get a beat in their head it NEVER leaves. Best of luck on your lessons. I'm sure you both will excel.

Thanks, brother, for both the warning and the confidence in my ability! My 1SG has been teaching me over here and he says that I pick up stuff faster than everyone he knows aside from his son. It only takes me a few minutes to learn new riffs if I get a youtube how-to video loaded but I know that I would do even better with an actual teacher. Maybe I'll just get lessons and teach my son what I learn! But, I guess a teacher shouldn't charge more for a second person since they are already getting paid for their time, right?

Some may charge you and other won't. I know I personally wouldn't but I also don't give lessons to pay the bills. (Although it has crossed my mind.) I would ask around and try to find someone who will give you both lessons at the same time for the price of one or at least a discounted rate.
