    Opening mouth a lot...worried

    Ok so I was holding my bp today and he opened the right side of his mouth 4 times and yawned 4 or 5 all in about 7 minutes....is he ok?? Thanks in advance!!

    He might just be re-adjusting his jaw. Did this continue after you were holding him? Did you see anything out of the ordinary like bubbles or anything in his mouth? If not, he's probably fine, just keep an eye on him for a day or two.

    Unfortunately I had to put him up cause I had to leave but no nothing like mouth rot or anything....completely normal looking

    As long as there isnt any bubbles or extra saliva around the mouth then it probably isnt a problem. I have seen snakes with RI's exhibit similar behavior...
