    Great bucks!

I got my first bow and arrow whitetail last night, young doe, but I'm still stoked. I still haven't seen any bucks at all this year, but I think it's going to take a bit of time to get them figured out since this is only my second year ever hunting..

I'd post a pic of my "trophy", but it's not posed, just a quick snapshot before I hung it and dressed it, no one to take a photo of me and the entry wound is obvious.. so since this is not a hunting forum I'll spare the non-hunters eyes who may not appreciate it.

Congrats on your first bow harvest. Horns or no horns, if you took it with a bow, then it is a trophy. The rut should be kicking in any time now so the more time you can put in the woods over the next 10 days, the better your chances. Dem bucks be crazy during the rut. Good luck.

November 17th is opening day for me in NY. Regular season that is. I made sure I got a doe tag this year because I sat from 4-11am pretty much everyday and didn't see anything. So if I don't see a bucks at least ill get a doe.

I am intrigued by this idea. Need somebody to help test it out? I'm no pro at it, but I'll throw that sucker all day long if you've got a boat for me to stand in.

I didn't really get to hunt last year, but this was the monster my dad harvested from our farm in southern Indiana the year before.
