What's your favorite scary movie?!
Im not a real fan of halloween but i love the scary movies they play on tv. It gets me in the mood to watch the dvds without commercial interuptions.
So, whats youre favorite scary/horror/thriller movie or the movie thats scared you the most? I like the more realistic ones myself. I dont think a movie has ever actually scared me, but some have definetly creeped me out a little. I like the Halloween movies (old ones more so but i like the newer remakes), rob zombie movies, and some other randomn ones like The Hitcher, Disturbia and The 'Burbs. I like that movie 28 days later and its sequel. Zombieland also wasnt a scary movie, but its halloweeny and i liked it bc it had zombies in it. I think ive only seen the first 2 or 3 older John Carpenter Halloween movies, but i think theres like 7 of them or something. The 'Burbs isnt really a scary movie but its like a comedic horror-ish movie. Its one of my most favorite movies EVER, not many people have ever seen it though.
Anyone have any favorites? Something that REALLLY creeped you out when you first saw it?

Most of the horror movies I watched were when I was little and I would watch them with my mom . The only one that really scared me was the leprechaun.... Scariest face, voice, attitude, and ruthless creepy kills!! That's the only movie that when I saw him appear on the screen, I had to cover my face! Now I have all the movies downloaded on itunes, and I watch them all the time!

The only movie that has ever scared me was when I was a youngin' and my dad made me watch "IT" with him. I swear I had a phobia of taking a shower for months after that. My mom had to sit in the bathroom with me while I showered...(I was like 8) Clowns still freak me out a little to this day...
Aside from that, nothing really freaks me out movie-wise as an adult. I did freak a bit when I played Silent Hill for the first time (The first one) and also when I played the first resident evil. Damn zombie dogs busting through windows when it's all quite and stuff...*shakes fist*

Anyway- The Grudge scared the crap out of me. I still get random phone calls from my brother making that God awful noise. It happens every couple of years and I spend the next two days terrified to go into the basement.

Horror is my favorite genre. So it's hard to pick one favorite. But the more twisted the better. Of course the classics like Friday the 13th and Halloween, and nightmare on Elm St. I also like Pet Sematary. Here is a pic of my little boy then Gage the little boy from Pet Sematary.

Anyone else think the look alike?

Ahhhh, creepy kids get me everytime! There is something incredibly disturbing about an evil, silent, or inordinately pale child!
And yes, the resemblance between your boy and Gage is one that I'm not sure I could get past
(He's adorable, by the way! Just don't let him get ahold of a scalpel!)

Hmm child's play when I was younger always scared the hell outta me but that blame is placed purely on my cousin he had a chucky doll and since he's seven years older then me he would always freak me out with it. Like wait till I fall asleep then have the doll standing on my chest tapping my face to wake me up terror to a nine year old. Other then that if there are zombies in it ill watch it I love zombie movies and I feel like if the world ever became a world of the dead I'd excel and be a zombie killing machine! Haha but we all gotta have dreams of what could be
