They shut down schools on Friday, yet another storm knocking on our door. These following pictures include the graphic devistation that was had here in Merritt Island. We are one of the "barrier islands" as they like to say....prepare yourself

Man, I'd call somebody about that palm, looks like it did some pretty severe damage to your property

I assume you'll be contacting your home owner's insurance about the damages?

It smushed my grass. I'm pretty upset about it

Oh my goodness yes! I really don't do well in weather below 75 lol. Freaking brrrr! I've been wearing all my winter clothes since sandy came by. (Which is not nearly enough I've noticed)

That's about what happened to me with the storm. Just add some power outages, replace the basketball net with a few 30' trees, ripped off shingles and gutters, and the lovely hum of generators everywhere, along with no heat.

So I say we BOTH got it pretty bad. Haha. It really could have been worse for me and glad that nothing happened to you.

Yea, I knew it hit other states pretty hard. Was just trying to make a silly out of a dimmer situation.

I've been through my fair share of bad hurricanes, having been born and raised here in Florida. Damaging storms are no fun at all, and I definitely don't miss the hum of generators for miles around heh.

Sorry you guys got the brunt of it
