Season Off to an Excellent Start!

I'm doing 3 pairings this year, Lesser-Normal, Mojave-Normal, and Pastel-Spider. I introduced all 3 males to their respective ladies last night, and here's what I woke up to this morning:

2 out of 3 ain't bad. My lesser was laying with his tail right next to my normal's so hopefully that means a lock was imminent.

Hope everyone is having a great season!

Checked them when I got home and here's my last boy (lesser) getting it done. The other 2 males are still locked from this morning (although one pair is on the other end of the tub) 3 pairs, 3 locks: just the way I like it!

Hey Kat, congrats on the great start!

On a side note, your water bowls look like what I use in my 15qt tub, a pyrex glass container. Mine is the smallest one (1c I believe), but I can't seem to find them sold individually. The only ones I see are in sets. Any insight into where I could get more? Also wouldn't be against using them in larger tubs, just haven't gotten my hands on an appropriate sized one yet. Yours seems to be great, you wouldn't happen to know what the size of that one is would you?

OR..am I entirely wrong and those are in fact not pyrex brand glass containers...if so, whoopsie

    Congrats!

I really like the normal your lesser is with. She's pretty.

The ones I have are a mixture of Anchor brand and Pyrex. I've found them at Dollar General and Walmart. Some of them came in packs (like 3 or 4-all the same size). They hold 2 cups. There's also some 4 cups ones, but I don't use them as often, as none of my snakes are really partial to soaking. I like them well enough. It's great to just pull water bowls out one day during the week, run them all through the dishwasher, and presto! clean bowls. One of my big females (actually-the one pairing with the mojave), likes to perch on top of hers and tip it over. She hasn't done it since I moved her to a 41qt tub though...

I don't think that's so much the case as the boys are smallish. Both girls are around the 2kg mark and the boys are both around the 1kg mark.

Thanks! I'll check out dollar general. I've yet to see singles or the smaller packs at Wally world. But my Walmart fails at most things. Heh
