    Research paper...

Hey everyone, so I have to write a research paper about anything I want but has to argue 2 sides. Example like pro life or pro choice. Gay marriage or no gay marriage. You get the point, I have to write my point of view and a argue someone could have against it. I really want to do mine on ball pythons since im so inteeated with them so what do you all think would be the easiest/best thing to write about? Having snakes, no snakes? Live feeding no live feeding? Ball pythons are better then boas.. Ect.. Thanks for any help I really do appreciate it

python ban would be really easy, search function will give you one side, and then links in those threads will give you the other side.

I think the best would be live vs pre-killed feeders, another good one would be the debate on what the best caging is. Both have been debated all over the internet for years now so it should be easy to find resources for the paper (though scholarly resources could be difficult if needed)

Personally I would write a paper on snake bans vs responsible keeping

How about the debate between rack systems vs "naturalistic, stimulating tanks".

    It's very stimulating itself!

The reptile hobby is responsible for a whole lot (millions?) of dead rats every year, most of which would never have been born, raised, or killed (often brutally) in the first place.

I would write about animal rights vs the right to own reptiles.

The python ban is a great thing to write on. I've written three papers an given a 10 minute speech on the subject, and it feels good to do my part for our community.

Just a note, the industry itself is about a $5 billion dollar a year industry including animals, caging accessories, and food. A good source of reference is the USARK website and the Reptile Report (name maybe a little different than I say) compiled by George town economics (I believe!)

That economic reports the damage the python ban will have.

    Re: Research paper...

Thanks everyone! Those are all great ideas.. I guess I'll just google them all to see switch has the most information to support it!
