Water bowl, paper towels for substrate, hides. They do fine that way.

I have one adult in a 20 gallon long and the others will be in 41qt tubs. PVC cages would be great too, probably better than a tank but corns are hardy and my corn in the tank (my display snake) has done wonderfully in there since corns usually don't need high humidity levels or as high temps. You can find tanks cheap on CL an a tub is ~$7 at Walmart. Don't forget the thermostat for the heating element or the digital thermometers/temp gun.

Mine seems to prefer his tub to the tank that I used to keep him in. He comes out of his hide more often and feeds more aggressively.

Mines in a tub, with aspen. He has hides, water dish, fake flowers and some branches. He seems to do better in the tub than he did in the tank

Currently, I have three corns in 28 qt tubs my rack and they do great. They just have newspaper substrate, two hides, and a water bowl. I have a fourth corn who will go on the rack once he's big enough. He's in a tank right now on aspen with two hides and a water bowl. His tub on the rack is a little loose so since he's a baby, he's in the tank until my biggest corn (who's about 100g) is big enough not to squeeze through the very small crack. I also have another corn who is permanently in a tank. My mother wanted one of my snakes to be a display snake, so she's there. She's in a 20L with aspen shavings, a plant, a water bowl, and a couple of hides.

Like others have said, corns are very hardy and can really be put in whatever you want to put them in. So long as you're meeting the corn's basic needs, there's no real need to put them in one place over the other.

Right now, having only one corn, she's in one of my homemade cages. I've kept corns in cages, tanks, and tubs and my preference for them is in that order. I never had luck with tubs, for corns or BPs, and don't like how they look, and although tanks work great for me (with a little insulation and work) you can't stack them.

As for decor, I give my snakes two identical hides, a ceramic water bowl, and at least 2 plant structures (to climb on and rub against for sheds). Bedding is aspen.

I'm not entirely sure how much my cages cost to make...I should puzzle that out. But they work perfectly and are built to last.

Corns do well in tanks because they just need their warmth, no worry for humidity. hey also are pretty active, and don't always spend 24/7 in a hide box..
