Great additionI have a Siberian husky as well and they make great pets They are very smart and get bored easily. SO for the chewing I will give you some advise that worked great for us. Get lots and lots of toys (my girl loves soccer balls) and rotate them in about once a week. We have a huge tub of toys and we just change them out weekly swapping one for another. This will give your guy something new to chew/play with and help with the destructive chewing. Another thing to try would be water bottles in a old sock. My girl loves to chew on these for a while then moves back to her toys. This method has saved a ton of furniture at our household hope it helps you as well
