Sigh......... Some day!! You know how I feel about these guys. If I haven't gotten a pair from John by the time you produce your first clutch, keep me in mind - I'll definitely be in the market by then!



Added: I almost picked up a pied at Tinley a couple weeks ago, but held off because I was able to find my T+ Argie female I needed. But, boy, it was close....

Thanks! Mussuranas aren't too common in the hobby right now. They are a great species to work with... very intelligent, super quick, and pretty calm when not after food! haha

Thanks Kali! I'll definitely keep you in mind for when mine produce - probably 2 years out. I give you credit for passing on them - they're hard to pass up... especially the pieds! I should be producing some since it is a dominant trait.

That's awesome - thanks! It was HARD to pass them up! If I'd had just a little more money.... But this way, I still have them to look forward to!

The best thing you can do it blindly throw money at it. Then you'll have some mussuranas and won't have a tough decision any more.

On a serious note, they're definitely an awesome species and I don't regret spending the cash on them at all. They've been completely handleable and great eaters. Really a rewarding species to work with!

So gorgeous! Very high on my wishlist, tied up with Savu pythons and Cribos. Something about that dominant pied gene and a snake called a super pied is just awesome
