    Do the paper towels have orange designs on them? I don't know why it's belly would be like that other than being stained. My albino gets abnormally stained from the newspaper compared to the other bps in my collection.

    I have actually seen several very young ball pythons with really orange bellies like this. It always goes away once the baby reaches a few hundred grams in size. I've seen normals and yellowbellies that had it, and if I remember correctly, a single cinnamon.

    I would be very interested to know if it changes as the baby gets bigger.

    no i only use white paper towels

    The color is less concerning than the seemingly shiny texture of the skin/scales to me. That's actually a sign of the first stages of scale rot or fungal issues if a baby, or any snake for that matter, is kept on a damp surface for too long. If its paper towels are dry that couldn't be the problem though so who knows. It's just not right for a ball to look so hard and glossy like that.

    i took it to the vet. its none of that. its been like that since it was born.

    look up the strawberries and cream ball python. it will go away.
