This helps reinforce my belief that if I ever do a trade I will use a middle party to receive both animals and not give to the other individuals until both snakes/both ends of the trade are in their hands. I know that it would be a pain but it is easier than having to go through what you are. I TRULY hope that this douche gets what is coming to him.

Oh Jeeze, yea def never doing any shipping trades with someone I don't trust 100%, which isn't many ppl.
I'm sorry this headache is going on, that's a gorgeous snake and I hope you get it back with some compensation to boot. Sue him for everything he's got and then sue him again!!

Thanks guys, I definitely won't be shipping out any animals first ever again, unless I initiate the trade and completely trust the person on the other end.
I won't be suing him, but he will face legal recourse if it isn't resolved soon.

Ive never made an out of state trade, but I have thought up a policy in case it happens. Only with someone ive bought from or sold to, must be decently known around the web or have multiple references.
And I would prefer to do it in person,if possible.
Strict, but just in case.
Hope it gets settled soon and you at the least get your snake back.
