In addition, in order to sell something you must first know what people want. Everybody places more significance on different things and this influences their buying behavior. Some are looking for what they think is a "quality" representation, some focus on attributes of the seller, some are concerned with the name/line, some give more wieght to pricing, some on presentation, communication, accessability, and so on. Once you can figure out what someone is looking for you can help them to find what they are looking for. Keep in mind, you dont want to sell something to someone, nobody likes to be sold on something. Instead, show them why they need what you have to offer, how what your offering fits their needs, and why they should buy from you. Dont sell anybody anything, offer them solutions to their needs.
