Hmm... it's possible that your animals have the IMG gene (increased melanin gene). I don't know of any other trait that can cause rapid color changes like that. It's a possibility that's worth researching.

Thanks, Some have said you can tell some Het Clowns because they express theirselves visually, The siblings and grand kids of the original pair are exceptional they don't look like your average clown. So we are thinking theres a second gene at play just have to wait and see Its all exciting though.

Hi Collrak, I have researched into the IMG gene and also spoke to Ralph about them he believes theres something different going on with them and its just a matter of time to find out, Heck must be something going on Ralph wants hatchlings LOL

    Photos,

Perfect Lock, She's off feed too now which is very unusual for her so who knows.

This is how the visual clowns look, Photos belong to breeder.

    The Hets,

She looks like a nice normal who has the typical breeding female "glow" going on. My Cinnamon female looking like an incredible hypo when she got her glow going, and she is normally a dark cinnamon.

After seeing photos of previous offspring and other hets, something else looks to be at play.

No way those are just clowns either, crazy

Het clowns are usually very visual and easy to tell from a normal, but those are ridiculous, something else going on there especially after seeing those clowns.

That looks way more than just the "glow" during building! Holy Cow Batman! She's definitely awesome! Don't send Ralph any babies. Just send 'em to me!
