Coils and Spits
So I just got a new pastel about a week ago and decided I would try to feed her today and shes coiling then starts on the head and spits it out.
I have a normal who has NEVER refused a meal and she seems to be the complete oppisite in every which way. shes a crank and hes the most easiest going friendliest snake.
The breeder said she ate no problem, and even sent me pics of her hammering her dinner.
Not really sure what to do because I have never had this problem...Any help or suggestions would be appriciated.
Thank You.

Usually, when mine spit it back out they think it's too big.

Also she has only taken a frozen thawed twice...Should I try live?
I prefer frozen thawed but I want her to eat.

Give her a week between feeding attempts so you don't stress her out by offering too frequently. As long as she's not losing a substantial amount of weight, you'd be fine to continue trying F/T. I personally would be more concerned with getting her eating, then would work on switching to F/T if that's what you prefer.
