I'm thinking more of his feeding problems may be how and where you are feeding him. Moving them to feed causes way more stress, and way more likely to have him not eat. Especially in that tiny container, where he doesn't have room to properly strike at his prey. Feed him in his own tub, you will probably find you don't need chicken broth. Honesty, I couldn't imagine doing that.
