Love good feeding days!
So as some may have seen I adopted a normal that was on live and to switch him over I dunked it in chicken broth, it worked great and only sometimes would I have to do an elongated zombie dance, or refused his black rat but tonight took an undunked rat in the blink of an eye. Hopefully this is the trend and I can start feeding him in his cage (I know, I know, i'm over thinking but I don't like the idea of chicken broth being spread around the cage)
My little albino Grimm, ferociously took and gobbled up his first f/t without hesitation. I ended up giving him a second since I went small to see how the switch over went..
If course my corn gobbled his, he never causes issues...
its the little things in life..

I have to admit, I've been confused about the chicken broth, seemed more appealing to humans than snakes but it worked so what do I know I'm waiting to try switching over to f/t too because I really don't like mouse droppings in my enclosure! Maybe I will try the broth!

I'm thinking more of his feeding problems may be how and where you are feeding him. Moving them to feed causes way more stress, and way more likely to have him not eat. Especially in that tiny container, where he doesn't have room to properly strike at his prey. Feed him in his own tub, you will probably find you don't need chicken broth. Honesty, I couldn't imagine doing that.

My first feeding I had held off for a couple Weeks to feed him and than of course showed no interest at all, I happened across the suggestion of the broth (i thought it very odd as well) and decided why the heck not, and it was instant grab! Now it has been two weeks since his last meal because he was in shed so hopefully the acceptance wasn't just being super hungry, but I always offer non dipped and only dip it if he doesn't take it and this was the first he's taken it without.
good luck with your switch over!

Yeah that picture if the tiny container was a hide I originally had for my new snake whom have had no feeding issues and took his meal in there. The snake with the issues had a 10 gal as the feeder bin, and I have successfully got him switched to no broth and his cage. I heard the arguments I promise, for my situation I did things based on what he was accepting and while I realize people think i'm crazy for how I switched him over, I feel that after reading about starvations and other difficulties I believe this has worked out very well..

I've given up trying to switch my two males over, but maybe I'll try this. How old's your norm? My males are two now, maybe too old to switch?

My norm is a rescue but we think he's one. A lot of people disagree with this method I guess, but I found it while searching for options not wanting to feed live and I found the broth idea as a successful method for others and there was no hesitation from my ball after dunking it. The whole transition took me about three months though that included a couple of shedding Weeks and one refusal when I was trying to skip the broth and made him wait an extra week.
