I would also go for a female. I got my first ball (pastel) a few months ago. I found a male that I really liked so I got him. He was going to be just a pet. Well now I'm addicted. I still only have the one, but I have been looking at getting some more. After much research on here I wish I would have gotten a female to begin. I guess I will be adding one in the near future
