I lived on an acreage so my parents would drive me house to house to trick or treat. They never dressed up either.

I'd go trick or treating still, but some people would refuse to give me candy because I'm so "old."

I dunno.. If I'm willin to fully dress up and walk house to house, I don't see why I can't get candy.
