If you were into Spieds I would say start with the long term project first (Pastel Pied to Bee) but since you have no interest in them just go with what YOU like.

You have a valid point. If enchi gene does bring more pattern to a spied I may try for that in the future. I think I do want to try for a enchi bumblebee and I may try for a double sired clutch with my pastel yellowbelly because bumble bellies are hot too.

I think I will probably take the pastel pied to my lemon pastel and shoot for super pastels 100% het pied to holdback. Sometimes I think I have too many snakes and times like these make me wish I had more.

My pastel calico should be ready to breed next year and I want a nice combo male that has spider in it to breed with her, I think I am going to make that priority #1.

Enchi is a great enhancer gene. Spieds eh im not a huge fan either. but either way go with what u already said. it may pay off long term if u wait a little longer and breed what you want.

He's about a year old and I don't have a current weight but he was almost 300g 3 months ago. I don't plan on starting to pair until Jan/Feb, so even if he isn't big enough when I get him at the start of next month he should be by then. I start breeding my males young and pull them from breeding if they stop eating. Last year my enchi started breeding for me when he was about 450g and was my best breeder. He didn't stop eating at all while I was paring him. I've also heard of people paring males as young as 6 months and 300-350g. That being said I'm pretty sure he will be breeding for me this winter.
