the LTR is really the most awesome motocross quad to come out, even with a cherry bomb and a pipe that motor pulls sooooo long and hard.

I used to have one and the only mods I did were twobrothers full system (annoyingly loud but best power for less money than a Dasa), PC5 (spent weeks building my own map) and steering stabilizer/nerfs. Eventually had to replace steering stem though cause i folded the stock one down to the tank in a bad get off... lol

I've been racing on bikes since I was little but i've always been fast on a quad too when I'd take a friends out and mess around so I decided to race one for a season, first race of the season I was trying to get around a lapper on the inside but for some reason he thought he had to shut the door on me so I locked it up and high sided (the aforementioned get off) which completely exploded my hip... put an end to my rookie quad season lol.

I see you got the yellow plastics too, you know they add 10hp right?

I love me some yellow! The walsh components fox shox and team ATP engine make it a dream to race. As far as stock quads go, ltr is the best! Stock suspension is pretty dang good

    I thought they added 15hp?
Ohh wait... That's only if you have the yellow power band in also... Duh
You should change out your muffler bearing also, I hear that's food for another 5hp and increases you rev limiter...

At the end of the day racing is racing. I know I'm so sick of the bike vs quad wars; we jut got kicked out of a local series because of one whiny track owner and some riders that don't like quads. Now the closest race is 4 hours away and the farthest is 12 (they were all about 3 before) even if I hitch a ride w/ someone else gas is still a couple hundred bucks. Oh well lol I can still race and luckily I have a practice track in my backyard so it's all good

I hear ya. I'm totally oblivious to the whole bike/quad war because I don't ride dirt.
For me, there's definitely a bike/car war on various road tracks though.
We're all here to do the same thing...go fast, and have fun. If you want to do that, you're good in my book, regardless of what you ride.
