I've used it and I had no ill effects. If you don't follow the instructions on the PAM you can kill your snake. With NIX, you just mix the little bottle with 1 gallon of distilled water and spray everywhere. Works wonders and you get 1 gallon of treatment for less than 20 bux. Pam is much more expensive for much less. I only needed to treat once on 4 snakes. Mind you my infestation wasn't super bad, but the NIX worked wonders an worked fast. No complaints here.
