    Ball python help !!!!!!!!!!!!

    i have this ball python that has not been eating for a while and recently saw this in her mouth.she has been off feed since march and has been losing weight.




    does she need to go to the vet or can i treat it at home.i dont know what it is so i desperatly need everyones help.so can you tell me what is wrong with her and a treatment

    Oh, the poor baby! Get her to a vet ASAP! Make sure they do cultures, too. That looks like it could be a bacterial virus in her blood or something with all that inflammation.I'm no expert by any means, but that scares me pretty badly to see that.

    It could be an abscess. You will need to take her to a vet ASAP. She'll need vet-grade medication to get that swelling down

    Hopefully you have a local herp vet. That definetely needs to be checked out by a professional.

    7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.

    Agree with all the above. Get to a VET! You will need to have a throat and mouth culture taken and have her mouth carefully examined for any rot. Good luck and take her immediately!
