Where do you get F10 or chlorhexidine?

Also, what kind of hides are you using? Reptile basics has great hides, that clean very well.

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Diluted bleach solution and warm, not hot, water.

If you want the F10 line (cleaner and disinfectant plus the other products) you need to order it in. As far as I know no N American supplier carries the line up just one of fifteen available. I highly recommend the hand soap and the hand decontamination gel.

Re: How do you go about cleaning?
Here is my cleaning routine. Have using this routine for about a year now.
Remove snake and everything from the plastic tub. (printer paper, glass water bowl)
Rinse off the glass bowl in the sink.
Remove any debris in the tub.
Wipe down tub with bleach wipes (Walmart brand)
Dry up fluid with paper towel, wipe it down until mostly dry.
Let the tub dry for a few minutes.
Replace the paper and water bowl into the tub.
Put snake into tub.
Done.
Usually the pee and poo smell dissipates after the first bleach wipe down. If not then, it is usually gone after a day.
0.1 Het Ghost BP
1.0 Spider BP
0.5 Normal BPs
1. Black Pastel BP

You keep your snake on printer paper? Like 8"x11" paper?

Re: How do you go about cleaning?
We spot clean each tub every couple of days wearing rubber gloves. As for our monthly clean, we take out the tub, dump the aspen, wash each tub with dawn soap and let air dry. Once dry, we use F10 and thoroughly spray the tub and let air dry. Once dry, add bedding, water cup, and snake. We also use disposable deli cups for water and each snake gets a new cup each week, sooner if it decides to "use" it for a toilet. Our snake facility generally has absolutely no smell. Good luck!
