    Pairing questions

I have 1500g female and 800G male (both 100% het albino), currently residing in 32 qt tubs. They paired last year (no results), while in large display cages. Can I pair them in the 32 qt tubs, or is that too small, and should I move them to the 41 qt? does it matter?

Also, must I wait for both to have eliminated their last meals before trying?

Must I wait for signs of ovy, or just take a shot every week or so?

I have all of my snakes in 32 qt tubs including my big girls. I have been pairing and getting locks without any issues. I don't see an issue with pairing in a 32 qt tub or a 41 qt. Your boy\girl or both may just not have been mature enough last year is all. I would just keep pairing on a 3 day on 3 day off schedule and offer food once per week. I just wait a day or so after feeding if they are due to be paired. I don't wait for defication. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Yeah I don't think the tub size matters much. How big was your male last season?

I started them late, very late. Male is actually 1200 now, was 1000 last season... now sure where I got 1000 from. Female now 1600

They paired twice, but i dint put them together until April.

bowl wrapping is a good sign to start pairing but you can put the male in to trigger her to get into breeding mode

I've had success in 32 qt with a 2000g female, but I have move to 41 qt as well to give the bigger girls more room. I wait a day or two after feeding to pair.
    Good luck.
