    Re: Breeding Start-Up Question

If it were me..... I would skip the Pewter male and get a Pewter female!

To my knowledge, for some reason, a Super Pastel Cinnamon (or Pastel Pewter), has never been created.

Pastel Male x Cinnamon/Pastel Female = Cinnies, Pastels, Super Pastels, Pewters, Super Pastel Cinnies.

Work towards something like this if you feel like it - http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...ter-pinstripe/

Then, if you end up with a Super baby, you're able to immediately inject that gene into any future project that you want.

I'll let you look up the price of a breeder size Pewter female, but I'm imagining about 750 bucks.

Supers and visual recessives are smart buys if you ask me. And you've got to think at least 3 years down the road.

I'm assuming you've tried looking at some big-name breeder websites and not just looked locally?

I just started a thread on Pewters as well, lots of pictures. See if you can find it and check that out.
