Built my incubator yesterday. Its a fridge about 4 1/2 ft tall. It has 11" heat tape down the door and has an electrical fan to circulate the heat then have two gallons of water. The temps are staying stable at 89.5 and have had it running for over 24 hrs. Still keeping an eye on it.

Cool I'm about to build one too but don't have a fridge. So I'm building mine using an Omaha steak cooler I found.

Wouldnt the heat source work better on the back wall?

Looks good. I just build mine also. I used 11" heat tape on the sides with a fan at the bottom. I was using a dish washer for the last few years, but figured it was time to go a little bigger.

I was going to put it on the back but had to modify the back because of the lips it has to help hold the racks so i put it on the door and it had been holding temps really good. I'm using an accurite gauge.
