    Quick question!

So Titans heat light went out today. I usually order his light online because its cheaper then the petstore.
So my question is will he be okay with a 77_80 degree ambient for a week or so without a heat spot till the new one comes in or do i just need to suck it up and buy the more expensive one right away?

While it may be a possibility he is alright for a week, you gotta ask yourself if its worth the risk? He could get RI or regurg his meal, etc.

Honestly, I'd be using an under tank heater with a thermostat. They really need belly heat. Plus, in the long run, it will be cheaper than buying bulbs every few months for 10+ years. But if you are dead set against an UTH with a thermostat ($250 for a UTH and a nice thermostat that you only need to buy once) and will only use a heat lamp ($10 bulbs every 3-4 months for 10+ years...you do the math), I'd just go buy the bulb. Your snake needs some form of heat and 77 is just too low for digestion. Go ahead and order 1-2 of the bulbs online and buy a bulb from the petstore. Then, when that bulb burns out, you already have a spare bulb at home to replace it with. I used heat lamps for a long time for my corn snakes before I got a rack for them and that's what I did.

I would go buy one and then order two more. Every time one Burns out you will already have a new one and then order another to continue the cycle so this will never happen again.

I have all my snakes on uth with thermostats except him. I am in the process of getting him convertef to a tub like the others.
Hes never had a uth in his life and the heat lamp gives him a temp of 89 on the surface temp of under his hide. So hes doing okay without a uth for now, but he will have ine soon when i out him in a tub. I just had $220 stolen from me so the funds to get his tub supplies have been put on hold temporarily.

I will go get a bulb tomorrow though.
    Thanks.
